8th Annual Friendship Walk… Come One, Come All!

It is that time of year again! Save the Date for our 8th Annual Friendship Walk which is fast approaching!

Join us for this fun filled community event which includes a 3-kilometre walk lead by Bing the camel! All money raised will be used to maintain this unique facility, which supports individuals of all ages with varied abilities. It is hoped that the proceeds from this year’s walk will support the construction of wooden pathways and a gazebo in our forested area creating a unique gathering space that will facilitate socialization and a connection with nature.

Keep posted to sign up and make your pledges on our Canada Helps soon! The walker with the most pledges will win a day at Nova’s Ark with ten friends!

Please help us make this year’s Friendship Walk the most successful ever! Plan to attend as a walker, or pledge to support a walker soon!

2018 Summer Camp – Registration Now Open

Nova’s Ark offers opportunities for individuals with varied abilities to join our trained and confident mentors to explore the many interesting animals and activities located on our ten acre property during our Summer Camps 2018.
Each individual is connected with a team comprised of staff, trained volunteers and college education placement students, who become the Circle of Friends which is key in assisting with their program needs. The focus continues to be on social and communication skills through exploration, sensory stimulation and structured interactive activities. These programs provide, key life skills development, physical involvement and respite time with weather appropriate activities.
