I AM A STUDENT:
The volunteers at Nova’s Ark are the most incredible people that we have ever met! In order to qualify as a volunteer at Nova’s Ark, you must be at least 12 years of age. You must have a gentle heart, a respect for all living things, extreme patience, a huge smile and a willingness to learn. Youth volunteers begin their experiences on Sundays from 9 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m. Some of the jobs required include feeding and grooming of animals, cleaning pens, sorting vegetables, and socializing animals.
There are a number of youth volunteers who have their 100 hour status, others who have moved into the 500 hour team and several now who have graduated into the 1,000+ hour leadership group. These are very dedicated individuals. All of our volunteers truly are gifts to Nova’s Ark which truly makes a tremendous difference.
