Students in High School are required to provide 40 community volunteer hours as part of the requirements for graduation. Nova’s Ark is honoured to have many students from the Durham Region come and participate in the Community Involvement Program. The hours donated by the student are logged and activities documented. There are many options for completion of the mandatory community involvement requirement including yard maintenance, animal care, technology based projects, photography and peer mentorship of children with special needs.
